You can pay us in any currency. Your account can be in Swiss francs or many other currencies (see below "Available currencies").

Big retail bank with branches all over Switzerland . Fully owned by a large Swiss cantonal bank, whose majority shareholder is a Swiss canton. Started operations in the 1920's.

Min balance

You should maintain on your account a minimum balance of the equivalent of CHF 5,000.- (convert to US Dollars , British Pounds or Euros ). You do not need to deposit this amount the day you open the account, but during the first three months.

Setup Mode

This account can be opened in person or by mail with procedure C or in person. If your deposits exceed CHF 500,000.- .- (convert to US Dollars , British Pounds or Euros ) you need to come personnally to the bank at least one time.

Internet Banking

Powerful system for reading your account statements online and making bank transfers worldwide. Security trough military-grade encryption with two passwords. Available in French, German, Italian. System is already accessible in English for 90% of the functions. No country restrictions.

Mail retaining

Available for CHF 300.- a year (convert to US Dollars , British Pounds or Euros )

Credit cards

International Visa and Mastercard credit cards
These cards are accepted all over the world. You need to deposit a security of 1.1 times the monthly credit limit to get a card. Cards are in Swiss francs, US dollars and Euro cards can be obtained. Annual costs for entry level card (Swiss franc silver Mastercard) are CHF 50.- for the first year and CHF 100.- a year thereafter. Cost to withdraw money at ATMs (automated teller machines, "the wall", money distributors) outside Switzerland is 2.5% with a CHF 10.- minimum.

Expenses

Annual costs are CHF 0.50.- per entry on your account statement (additional costs if you have stock market investments).

The bank does not charge for Swiss or international incoming bank transfers .

Depositing international cheques cost CHF 10.- for the first cheque and CHF 5.- for each additional cheque in the same batch. (convert to US Dollars , British Pounds or Euros )
